Need to report a sighting?

We rely on you to be our eyes and ears to protect our precious predator free areas. If you see signs of a rat, stoat, weasel or possum in Miramar, Kilbirnie, Lyall Bay, Rongotai, Hataitai or Mt Victoria, please fill out the form with as much detail as you can. You may have seen the animal itself, or signs such as droppings, claw or chew marks, or a carcass. For sightings outside these areas, please contact your local community trapping group.

Thank you for helping our biosecurity efforts! We follow up each report with out rat detector dog team and also use a camera monitoring network.
