Hold the three middle fingers of one hand up to make a W shape. Wave your hand side to side. View on NZSL Dictionary.
Rat – Kiore
Place your index finger and thumb of each hand at your temples. Finger and thumb should be a short distance apart. Move your hands up and away from your temples, pinching your thumb and finger together as you do so. Mimics a rat’s ears. View on NZSL Dictionary.
Trap – Tāwhiti or rore
Place your left hand in front of your chest, palm up. Bring your right palm down on top of your left and interlock your fingers. View on NZSL Dictionary.
