‘How to kill rats and engage a community’, developed by Dan Henry at Predator Free Miramar, is an essential resource for anyone interested in starting up their own community trapping group.
Despite the title it’s not an instruction manual on how other groups should work. What makes these projects great is that there’s no single way of doing it.
This is Dan’s recollection of what PFM did, shared in the hope that it might provide other trapping groups some help when starting out. Because we’re all aiming for the same thing, and to quote Bruce Springsteen: nobody wins, unless everybody wins.
We hope you find this guide valuable. We’re extremely proud of what Dan and the Miramar community has achieved. Please enjoy and share with fellow trappers and friends.
