The Mt Victoria Bush Regeneration Group has been going for years now and we work on the northern slopes above Palliser Road in the Wellington Town Belt. We’re a group of mostly local Mt Vic folks and get plenty of support from WCC and Conservation Volunteers.
Our patch was a tour through just about every weed and pest of Wellington and is now emerging as a great native ecosystem, under the pines and eucalypts. We have a long term view of where we’re heading and celebrate every step along the way.
