Predator Free Glenside

Glenside is the semi-rural suburb along Middleton Road in the green space between Johnsonville and Tawa north of Wellington. Predator Free Glenside is a project under the Glenside Progressive Assn. Inc. We currently have 26 households actively involved in our trapping programme. In 2014, Glenside was accepted by the Enhancing the Halo panel to be a predator free community, along with Crofton Downs. Our residents were awarded $5000 to buy traps toward a three year trapping programme. We are continuing our trapping programme with a focus on trapping possums and rats.
