Predator Free Miramar

About us

Predator Free Miramar logo

Predator Free Miramar is a volunteer, not-for-profit, community effort to rid the Peninsula of rats and mice, and bring back the birds and the bush to Wellington’s eastern suburbs. Join our group and we’ll help you get started trapping in your backyard for free!

Predator Fee Miramar covers the entire Miramar peninsula, so residents of Strathmore, Seatoun, and Breaker Bay should get in touch if they are keen for a trap.

Miramar has been free of rats, stoats, weasels and possums since 2023! Learn more about that here. If you think you see one of these critters, please let us know!
