Predator Free Thorndon

About us

Predator Free Thorndon is on a mission to rid Thorndon of bird-killing rats, mice, stoats and weasels. In Thorndon we are already seeing the benefits of the eradication of pests in Zealandia with many tūī and some kākā living here but introduced predators are killing these birds as they try to spread out. Our aim is to have one-in-five Thorndon households trapping these pests.

Email us if you are living in Thorndon and are keen to set up and manage a trap on your property. We can provide residents with a free trap – so together we can help our birds thrive.
