RAMBO (Rats and Mustelid Blitzing Ōtari)

RAMBO was set up in July 2007 for trapping to complement Greater Wellington’s poison bait programme in Ōtari-Wilton’s Bush. While the main target is mustelids and hedgehogs quite a number of rats are being caught. There are now some 70 DOC 200 traps throughout the Reserve and in adjoining areas.
